Following the success of Audi’s Q8 e-tron SUV, the e-tron GT represents the German brand’s next generation EV efforts with an EV-specific platform shared with the Porsche Taycan, sleek GT-design and 800-volt charging. While its platform is shared with other members of the VW group, the exterior and interior styling is in line with Audi’s signature design. The 800-volt J1 platform shared with the Taycan is key to their high-power output, driving range and fast charging speeds.
The Audi e-tron GT offers a 93.4 kWh battery pack driving all four wheels via the Ingolstadt-brand's Quattro AWD system, dual-motors powering each axle with over 600 hp in RS e-tron GT models and 270 kW DC fast charging capabilities. With grand touring proportions and minimum power of over 400 hp in base trim, the e-tron GT is made for long drives through winding roads. The e-tron GT competes against EV heavyweights such as the Tesla Model S, Mercedes-Benz EQE and Porsche Taycan, notably bringing a characteristically sporty ride.
Both Audi e-tron GT and its RS e-tron GT high-performance variant are powered by a 93.4 kWh battery, of which 83 kWh is accessible by the driver, this gives the base model an EPA estimated range of 238 miles while the RS variant can drive for 232 miles before needing a charge.
To charge your e-tron GT at home with its maximum 11 kW charging speeds, the JuiceBox® 48 is able to provide 11.5 kW of fast, home charging overnight, ensuring you always have a full charge for the day ahead. A complete charge can be accomplished overnight in about 8 hours.
