eMotorWerks Kickstarter campaign coverage on Engadget.com

Dear eMotorWerks friends and supporters, electric car enthusiasts

eMotorWerks is proud to announce the launch of its highly anticipated KickStarter crowd-funding campaign to bring our newest product to the market – eMotorWerks JuiceBox.

Please go to www.KickStarter.com today and help us blow through our financing goal of $25.000!  The supporters will receive handsome rewards: from DIY kits to fully assembled charging stations depending on the amount contributed.

eMotorWerks JuiceBox is an Open Source high-power Level 2 EV charging station (EVSE). The target starting price is just $99 which makes it 8x cheaper than the closest competition today. We have a number of working prototypes in the field already and is now looking to scale production. We believe that inexpensive fast charging capability is a critical driver of the EV adoption and we are very excited to be able to provide it to all EV owners!

We have also appeared on the front page on Engadget on our launch day! Check out the coverage by the senior mobile editor Myriam Joire. Link to the original Engadget Article: eMotorWerks kick-starts JuiceBox, a $99 Level 2 DIY charging station

Remember: once the campaign ends and mass production is set up, the pricing will go up. Hurry and be the first to get this new high power charging station and also help us to perfect JuiceBox by providing your invaluable feedback!

PS. Since the original announcement at the Maker Faire 2013, we have received a ton of emails and calls from you asking when we will launch. We want to thank you for your patience as we were working towards this launch. Your continuous interest, voluminous e-mails and inquiries about JuiceBox kept us going. They also gave as the optimism and confidence that our high power charging station project will become a success.

We are excited about this new step in EV revolution in personal transportation and hope that you are, too!

Go Electric!
